What is WAP
WAP is a way of accessing the internet on your phone. Unless you have a really new phone – you don’t get the “real” internet, you get a cut down simple version for phones.
How much does it cost?
We don’t charge anything! You can download all of our stuff for free. BUT your phone provider will charge you. You’ll either be charged by how long you’re using WAP, or how much data you download. – Either way, our WAP site has been designed to help you get what you want quickly – so you can get off WAP, ASPA. It will definitely be cheaper then those premium SMS services off the TV.
How to use:
OK, you'll need to check your instruction manual on how to use WAP on your make/model of phone, but once you’ve found out, here’s what you do:
1. Look around itsall3.com on your PC, find something you like, and remember the WAPCode shown next to the ringtone/logo/theme etc.
2. Get your phone, and WAP this address: (you might want to bookmark it for future use)
www.itsall3.com/wap |
www.itsall3.com |
Either will do, both will get you to our WAP site...
3. You'll see something like this:
It will look different depending on your phone, but you get the idea.
Enter the code for the file you want. The code isn’t CaSe sensitive, so t123 will work just as well as T123.
The site will now look for your file...
File Found, Click GET and Wait... |
The WAP site will say. And that is it. You Phone will ask you where you want to save your new file, then you just wait for it to download. Remember it could take awhile depending on what you're getting.
More Technical:
Most new phones now come with WAP setup and ready to use. There are two types:
GPRS: If you have GPRS WAP, you will be charged for the AMOUNT of files you download. (the KB or MB size of the file, usally charged per MB download)
None GPRS: None GPRS WAP charges you by the Second. The time you are on the WAP site.
Setting up WAP:
If your phone isn't already setup, you need to have a look in your instruction manual, and maybe check your network provider website, below are some WAP help pages for networks:
Files wont download:
Maybe your phone doesn’t support the type of file you’re trying to download. Maybe your phone doesn’t like downloading that type of file off WAP. – There are so many problems; the best place to ask is our forum.
